Dublin Bus fare price increases from Jan 1st

Dublin Bus Fares went up from January 1st, 2007. old and new are now:
Adult Fares 1-3 [stages] Old = 0.95 New = 1.00
4-7 = Old = 1.35 New = 1.40
8-13 = Old = 1.55 New = 1.60
14-23 = Old = 1.80 New = 1.90
Over 23 stages = Old 1.90 New = 1.90

Outer Suburban 1 = Old 2.10 New = 2.20
Outer Suburban 2 = Old 3.10 New = 3.20
Outer Suburban 3 = Old = 4.10 New = 4.20

Children's Fares
Under 16
1-7 [stages] = Old = 0.65 New = 0.70
Over 7 Old = 0.85 New = 0.90

Schoolchild Fare
Under 16
All stages Old = 0.50 New = 0.55

Dublin Bus Christmas and New Year Arrangements

Friday 22nd December 2006
Normal services will operate on all routes. All Nitelink services will operate with most buses running until 0430 hours. Dublin City Tour and Coastal Tours will operate. Ghostbus Tour will not operate.
Saturday 23rd December 2006
Normal services will operate on all routes. All Nitelink services will operate with most buses running until 0430 hours. Dublin City Tour, Coastal Tours and Ghostbus Tour services will not operate.
Sunday 24th December 2006 – Christmas Eve
Normal services will operate on all routes. Note: Last buses to and from the city will operate up to 2100 hours, excluding buses from Heuston Station, Dublin Airport and Ferry Port which will operate later than 2100 hours. Nitelink services, Dublin City Tour, Coastal Tours and Ghostbus Tour will not operate.
Monday 25th December 2006 – Christmas Day
NO BUS SERVICES
Tuesday 26th December 2006 – St. Stephen’s Day
A Sunday service will operate on all routes. Most Nitelink services will operate at 0030 and 0200 hours. Xpresso Services, Dublin City Tour, Coastal Tours and Ghostbus Tour will not operate.
Wednesday 27th December 2006
A normal service will operate on all routes. Most Nitelink services will operate at 0030 and 0200 hours. Xpresso services will not operate. Dublin City Tour, Coastal Tours and Ghostbus Tour will operate
Thursday 28th December 2006
A normal service will operate on all routes. Most Nitelink services will operate at 0030 and 0200 hours. Xpresso services will not operate. Dublin City Tour, Coastal Tours and Ghostbus Tour will operate
Friday 29th December 2006
A normal service will operate on all routes. All Nitelink services will operate with most buses running until 0430 hours. Xpresso services will not operate. Dublin City Tour, Coastal Tours and Ghostbus Tour will operate

Flat rate Sunday 95c fare in November: Dublin Bus

The Echo is carrying a half-page colour advert from Dublin Bus this week offering passengers a "flat rate" of 95c for adults and 65c for children, any Sunday in November, "wherever you're headed."

The fine print states: "Applies to cash fares only. Excludes Airlink, Nitelink, ferry services, Tours and Routes 90 and 91."
