The story, which was the main feature in the local newspaper of Thursday, December 7th, was actually about a builder who, with "an army of workmen" trespassed on a property on which he had been building an extension and removed windows without the client's permission. He had been in dispute with the owner over a payment which the client refused to make as he was dissatisfied with the quality of work. Convicting him of trespass, the judge fined the builder €1,250, plus costs, with a six-months suspended sentence.
